Beginning 3D Design
Artist Statement
During second semester of my Freshman year I took the Beginning 3D Design class provided at my high school. During the semester I related all of my work to some thing I love or how I feel. I focused on working with many different mediums, such as paper, balsa wood, rose thorns/ stems, vinyl Record, molding/casting, sculpt a mold, etc. I took this class as part of my VPA requirements, but also to further my experience in the deals of visual arts. I learned a lot from this class, and am vary happy with how it ended.

skills and drills
My worst “Skills and Drils” would be the polymer clay die , beacuse I did not spend enough time on it and it looks vary unapeling. My best “Skills And Drills” would be the scoulpt a mold person beacuse it is apeling to the eye and it’s form is ok.
Finished projects
- This was inspired by my love for music. I chose to show music through a rose both can be considered romantic; however love/romance can hurt. That is the reason behind the framing with rose stems, and the rose thorns on the sheet music rose its self.
The medium of project is an old vinyl record. I cut a 1967 Chevrolet Impala. This was inspired by my love of older things, music, and cars.
